MTTC–It Takes Two

This is the card I made for my Husband for his birthday in April. I was really pleased with how this card turned out. It is my DT card for the current challenge over on My Time To Craft.

The image I coloured using Spectrum Noir pens from Crafter’s Companion Humprey’s Corner . To be honest I coloured this image back in November at the Craftaganza with my first try of using the pens. I just loved them from the off!!!!

I have added a ‘bunch’ of flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts and added some stickles.

Other items added to this card include:

Ribbon from the Ribbon Box.

Punched details using My Woodware heart border bunch and Martha Stewart ribbon boarder punch.

Pearls from the Ribbon Box.

Stamped greeting from Cuddly Buddly and I have added this onto a spelbinders label detail.

The card layers are matted onto coordinations, red card and mirror card.

House Mouse–Thinking of You

I have made this card to send to a work colleague who is unfortunately undergoing chemotherapy treatment for breast cancer. She’s having good days and bad days and I thought’s this cute House Mouse Decoupage image was in keeping with how she is feeling at the minute.

 

The backing papers are from my Tatty Teddy – DoCrafts CD Rom. I have matted onto pink card from Paper Mill Direct. The die is a Marianne Crafts’ and the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.  I have added a sentiment from my stash and some pearls from The Ribbon Box.

Tatty again

Another Me 2 You card from me for this post.

I coloured this image with my Spectrum Noir Pens a few weeks back but never got it made into a card. Well today I have finally made a card from it.

I have used a white base card and chosen some papers from my Do Crafts Tatty Teddy CD and Crafter’s Companion Humprey’s Corner CD which I have matted onto blue cardstock.

The Flower I have had in my stash and have added a button detail with a silver thread running through the button holes. I added 4 pearls from the Ribbon Box.

A Tatty Teddy Thank You

This is one of the card’s I have made this afternoon.

 

I made the tatty section on My Digital Designer on a 6x6 paper.

I initially designed this to post on a message board I am on to show my appreciation and then decided to make it into a card too.

So I printed the image onto matt photo paper and matted it onto silver card and then coordination's form Crafter’s Companion. I have then matted this onto an 8x8 scalloped card base.

 

I added stickles Icicle and pearls for details.

What’s on Your Workdesk Wednesday? - ~149

Hi all it’s a while since I have joined in with WOYWW over on Stamping Ground but I thought I would join in today.

 

This is how my desk looks this morning

I am working on a card for a very special person in my life!!! This card has a red theme.

 

The papers to the left of the picture are for to make a card for a special little boy too. I’ve had the image coloured for a while so printed some papers yesterday to go with it.

 

You will be able to see some other stamped images which have been coloured in just above these papers and also some house mouse decoupage all ready to make up into some cards.

 

Right then I’m off now as I have to go to the shops for a few bits  and to the gym. Hope you all have a brilliant day.

Fairy Nice–My Time To Craft Challenge DT Card

Hi all this is my DT card for this fortnight's challenge over on

The theme is Fairies.

As some of you may be aware I have been sorting out my craft room and rearranging. This has included going through my cupboards too. When I was sorting I came across my Flower Fairy Duffex Decoupage from Crafter’s Companion. So I decided that this fitted the theme perfectly.

I have chosen one of the card bases to use too. I cut this down slightly and matted onto a A5 base card made with Snow White Centura Pearl Cardstock.

I have used my Martha Stewart Ribbon Punch which is one of my new fav items as you may be able to tell from previous blog posts!! and have added some ribbon from my stash.

The Flower Fairy decoupage has been layered using Collall Glue Gel from Crafter’s Companion. I just love this as it has no smell!!

I have finally added some stickles glitter glue gel for a bit of fairy sparkle and a few pearls from the Ribbon Box.

A few recent Jewellery makes

Hi all

Here's three items of jewellery I have made recently.

This first one is another cube bracelet with a gun metal theme.

 I just love this style and it's so quick and easy and looks effective in any colourway.

This next one is a Zulu Necklace

 This one is made using size 6 and 11 seed beads along with a button detail and some crystals.

It was quite time consuming but it will be nice with my summer tops.

And this final one is a Tila Choker Necklace

This one is made using Tila beads, Size 9 seed beads and 4mm crystals.

I have also made this one in black Tila's and seed beads and silver crystals which also looks very stunning. i will post a picture of this one at a later date once I have taken the piccy.

Skylander's Birthday Party Invitations

 

I was asked to make some Skylander invitations for a colleague at work's Son's 5th Birthday. He is totally Skylanders Mad.

These have been created in word and exported into PDF file and then printed 4x6" onto a white textured cardstock.

A few Debbi Moore Delights

These are a few cards I have been working on using cd’s in the Debbi Moore range.

I love a bit of glitter and glitz from time to time (and what girl doesn’t!), and these cards certainly do have glitter!!! 

 The first card is a rocker style

 

 

I have used the Debbi Moore One Fine Lady CD for this one. I love the rich reds, the image and papers are simply stunning.

The base card and topper base have been die cut using the Spellbinders large oval scallops from the Grand Nestabilities range.

I have finally added flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts and xmas red stickles glitter glue and a few pearls from the ribbon box.

This next card has been made using the Debbi Moore Art Deco Galaxy CD.

 

 

I decided to use blue tones for this card and to complement have chosen gold mirror card and navy base card stock.

I have used 3 different design sheets and a paper from the cd.

The middle topper and two outer toppers have had glitter elements added to give that bit sparkle. I have also added some Glossy accents to the edges of the outer toppers to give some dimension.

The two oval toppers have been sprayed with Crafter’s Companion Spray and Shine to give a enamelled impression.

The ribbon sections which I have mounted these on are using my Martha Stewart ribbon punch. I just love the effect you can get using this punch. I have added navy blue organza ribbon through this detail.

Finally I have added some metal corner embellishments from Wild Orchid Crafts.

This final card has been made using the Debbi Moore Venetian Collection CD.

I have made a side stepper card. Using Crafter’s Companion Snow White Centura Pearl card as the base. Matted and layered using gold mirror card.

The above picture shows the card front more open. I have added another image from one of the design sheets. The main image has been cut from the character section.

The gold ribbon is from Dovecraft, red 10mm gems from Paperchase and gold glitter brads are papermania.

My Time to Craft–Make it an Easel

Hi all

Well this weeks challenge over on My Time To Craft is to make an easel card.

I must say the DT have made a great lot of cards so why not pop over and check them out.

On for my card, I have used my Debbi Moore Art Deco Galaxy CD for this one.

Just love this image. I have used the decoupage sheet which I have layered up using Collall Glue Gel from Crafter’s Companion. This is matted onto some glitter card. Papers are from the cd. I have also printed one of the design sheets and created an embellishment for the bottom section of the card.

The ribbon strips on the design sheet I have mounted onto gold mirror card and attached these onto the main section before adding my main image.

The flowers are from Hobby Craft and I have sprayed these with gold spray and sparkle from Crafter’s Companion.

Finally I have added gold pearls and platinum stickles for added glitz.

Paintbox Poppets Mother’s Day Card

This is my first make with the wonderful new range from Crafter’s Companion – Paintbox Poppets.

I have used the Reddy Die Cut Decoupage and it’s so lovely to work with. I have decoupaged the image using Collall Glue Gel.

The base card is an 8x8 scalloped card I have matted onto this some kraft card and then chosen 2 backing papers from the Paintbox Poppets cd rom.

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and pearls are from the Ribbon Box.

I have added a ribbon strip which I have punched with my new Martha Stewart double-edge punch – Linked Trim, I have used a ribbon from the Ribbon Box within this.

Finally I have used a Happy Mother’s Day Sentiment stamp from Lili of the Valley.

Humprey’s Corner Birthday Card

Hi all this card I have made for my Cousin’s Daughter’s 3rd Birthday.

I coloured this image back in February when we met up with the Girls From our Crafter’s Companion FB Group. I was really pleased with my colouring and it looks good on the card too. I’m getting there with my shading techniques. The colouring medium I have used is my Spectrum Noir Pens I just love these pens they are so easy to use!!

I have used papers from the 1st Humprey CD from Crafter’s Companion. The Humprey’s Corner Range from Crafter’s Companion is just so cute!!!

My first My Time To Craft DT Card - Doilies and Flowers

Hi all as you may have been aware from a previous post I was chosen to join the wonderful DT along at My Time to Craft. I am so grateful to have been given this position and will be inspired to create many much needed cards for my family and friends as well as those to sell. 

After having been notified on Sunday I had been given this position I got straight onto making my first DT card before going out for my last night shift. This is the card I have made.

 I have made this card for an order I had. The customer wanted a Mother's Day card and she wanted a butterfly and floral theme. The brief for the challenge this time was perfect for this card. I have used backing papers and embelishments from the Crafter's Companion Strawberry Kisses CD. The stamped image is from Dimension Forth and I have coloured this with spectrum noir pens which was stamped onto neenah card stock. Matts are coordinations from the brights section. I have added Tim Holtz distress ink to the backing papers and neenah once I had coloured the image. I added floral details and stickles to complete the card.

Dutch Spiral Necklace

Hi all I’d like to share with you all a necklace I have made.

All of the supplies to make this necklace are from Rosarama Beadcraft in Crawcrook, Tyne and Wear, NE40 4LZ.

I have used 4mm cubes and 3 colours of size 11 seed beads.

I am really pleased with how this necklace has turned out. Watch this space for a black and red variation!!!

Tilda Just for You

Hi all, this is the card I have madethis afternoon.

I have used a well neglecte Tilda Stamp and coloured with Spectrum Noir pens from Crafter's Companion. I am loving the shading on this image and it's a new Technique which Marcea kindly showed me yesterday. 

I have added flowers fromm my stash. The main focal flower I have coloured using my Spectrum Noir pens to coordinate with the image. I have also added an epiphany flower button to the centre of this flower. The foliage has been cut on my eCraft. I also coordinated the ribbon with my Spectrum Noir pens as I didn't have a one I was happy with in my stash.

The base cardstock is Snow white centura pearl from Crafter's Companion and The matts are Coordinations from the Tim Haltz Pad. Backing papers are from my stash.

I have added a stamped Cuddly Buddly Sentiment and added spectrum noir and stickles details to this. Matted onto a scalloped circle nestie. The image and flowers have all had a little sparkle added with Crystal Stickles!!

Forever Friends Valentine

This card was an order for one of our Friends to give to his Girlfriend on Valentines day. I didn't post it before Valentines incase she saw it and I have just realised I didn't post it!!! What am I like.

I printed the decoupage onto Glossy Photo Paper and Matted this onto a nestie shape. The black cardstock is Coordinations which I have distressed.

Rose delights

This was a card I made yesterday evening before I went to work. I coloured the Rose stamped image from Crafter's Companion with my spectrum noir pens. I have added subtle shading and think it works. I then added some Stickles Glitter Glue to the rose and fairy wings.

I matted and layered backinng papers from the cd. I changed the colour of the Rose text backing paper in the colouriser as I wanted a vivid Red. 

I have made a Red Satin Bow and added an epiphany gem to the centre picking out the R from the Backing paper.

Forever Friends Pink and Purple floral xx

This is the card I sent to a wonderful work colleague when she retired on Friday. Tina is a wonderful lady and a great friend. She will be highly missed at work. 

I have used my Forever Friends Collection Cd for the topper and matted this onto an embossed nestie. I embossed some silver mirror card with a Darcy butterfly embossing folder from Crafter's Companion and matted this onto the matt magenta cardstock I have had for a while which I got from Crafter's Companion. To finish I have added gems, stickles and ribbon details. The base card is a papermania 5x7" scallopped edge card.
